Tucows Swag Announcement
Producer, Director, Camera, Editor, VFX, Sound, Color
This was a fun opportunity to announce that Tucows had, finally, created swag for employees and vendors. The video started as an internal announcement, but the reception to the final piece was so positive, it was also used across its social channels.
The Walmart Business Advance Podcast Teaser
Producer, Writer, Editor, Sound
A teaser video I produced and edited for the pilot episode of Walmart Business' limited podcast (which I also produced.) When interviewing Luke for the podcast, video was also recorded so it could be repurposed for social media content later on. This teaser mixes event b-roll provided by Walmart, an interview I conducted for the podcast, and Host voice over from the Podcast's trailer and first episode. All these elements came together seamlessly to produce this short teaser video.
Vertical Social Pieces
Producer, Director Editor, Sound, Color
Here is a collection of vertical content I've created for brands like Ting Internet, Clearco, and CAA Niagara.
Found footage social videos
Producer, Writer, Editor, Sound, Color
Part of Ting Mobiles's content marketing strategy was covering a variety of topics our audience might find interesting. Occasionally I'd be tasked with creating fun social videos for our Youtube/Social channels. Here are two examples I put together entirely from found footage on Youtube.
Product Review: WaterLily
Producer, Director, Camera, Editor, Sound, Color
Part of Ting Mobiles's content marketing strategy was covering a variety of topics our audience might find interesting. Another one was product reviews. In this case, the folks at WaterLily sent this device to us hoping we might spotlight its functionality. We thought it would be fun to show our audience. The piece was filmed in an afternoon in my friend's backyard (he has a nice backyard), and gave me an excuse to play around with a GoPro (used in the under-water sequences.)
Limited Distilling: Let's Make a Drink
A series I produced with a local distillery in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The trick with this one, was redoing all the close-ups after the fact (as we only had one camera.) So there's a bit of mental noting that goes on during the process about where certain objects land, or what didn't work out in the wide. Still, the editing should be seamless enough where you wouldn't know it wasn't a two camera-shoot.
