A product introduction video I worked on with Wavelo in 2024. One fun production note, the studio we filmed at had poor soundproofing, leading to a lot of reverb in the location audio (recorded via lavalier and boom mic). The final result in the video, has actually been fixed via Adobe's Enhance Speech A.I. tool. It did in minutes, what I couldn't fix in hours (no matter how many plug-ins I threw at it).

In 2022, I was asked to produce a video explaining Ting's micro-trenching process to both customers and city officials. The idea was to demystify the process and also calm any fears locals might have about damage to property. I found a local contractor, Stav, who would film the process in Culver City, CA, helped shaped the script with various stakeholders, and worked with my go-to animation house (Core Studios) on the animated explainer section. It was a complicated project, but the end result was very effective.

Corporate Podcasts
Producer, Writer, Motion Graphics
In 2024, I helped Walmart Business build the first two episodes of a limited podcast series showcasing their customers and nonprofits. My role included working with the folks at Walmart  to shape the concept of the series, build-out  episode plans, conduct pre-calls and interviews with the guests, and write the script based off of those transcripts. Finally, I worked with a sound engineer to edit the episode and build the soundscape. It was a real collaborative effort that resulted in a nice showcase for Luke Schneider and the folks at Fire Department Coffee. Finally, I also built the videogram you see above.

During COVID, Ting Internet was able to quickly pivot to a new interaction-free setup process. However, the steps needed to be communicated to customers before installation could begin. This video was created to document the new process. One goal of mine, was to take our established 2D line-art look, and move it into 3D to help communicate the various steps customers would need to take. Working with our animation vendor, Core Studios, we were able to find to find a look that felt like our branding, but could rotate in 3D space as needed.

This project required a lot of research as many of those early dates, details and photos had been misplaced, misremembered or forgotten. The end product was a total team effort, utilizing the help of the HR team, the design team and our external animation vendor (Core Studios). Even the voice-over was provided by a Tucows employee.

Unlike the previous How-to video which needed some time for production, these ASCIO How-to videos could be completed in a day. They're mostly made-up of screen-capture provided to me by the client (which some direction from me on best practices to capture). However, with some editing, additional motion graphics, and professional voice-over, a basic screen-capture can become a website/youtube ready video with little additional resources.
